This is the beautiful Melissa D. Warren, the original "Chi-TwnQT". This site was created as another source for family and friends to visit and leave donations for her family.
As you may imagine, certain situations are left unattended when unforeseen circumstances such as this comes to reality. However, it's the of the everday life that must be tackled as well, at the same time.
On August 23, around 2:23 am, Melissa and a friend/co-worker (Shikerra) and Shikerra's 9month old son (Josiah) were coming back from picking up baby Josiah from a week with his grandparents in VA. While driving down route 50 going toward Annapolis, MD a young man (age 23) going over 100 mph, with the blood alcohol level of 0.18 (2x the legal limit) collided with the back of their car causing them to ricochet and hit a guard rail. Shikerra suffered injuries to her arm and had to receive surgery, and by the grace of God baby Josiah walked away with out a scratch. Melissa has suffered internal injuries to her head, neck and abdomen area. They were all taken to PG Community Hospital, and then Melissa was transported to University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. While family and friends have been by Melissa side and supporting her 24/7 we are also by the sides of her two sons Jalen (6) and Gavin (2) and her husband Russel.
